Treatment
Fees
Treatment fees are dependent on many factors including the severity
of the problem, the difficulty of the treatment, and the time
necessary to complete the treatment. We offer a variety of payment
options tailored to fit your individual needs. Typically, the
initial payment is made when treatment begins, and the remaining
balance is divided into monthly payments, which will be spread
out over the treatment time. There are no finance charges if your
account remains in good standing, however, there is a $5.00 late
fee on past due payments. Monthly payments are due on the first
of the month, but you are given a grace period until the fifteenth
before late charges are assessed. For those patients who choose
to pay in full at the start of treatment, we offer a courtesy
discount.
Payments can be made by cash, check, or the following credit cards,
Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. Credit cards
may be used for down payments, monthly payments, or incidental
fees. If desired, our office can arrange for monthly payments
to be automatically applied to your credit card each month.
Insurance
If you have insurance which covers orthodontic treatment, our
office will help you determine your insurance benefits. As a service
to our patients who have insurance, we will estimate the amount
of coverage you have. Typically, reimbursement for orthodontic
service is not made in a single payment. Most insurance companies
make a down payment when the braces are placed, and will pay the
remainder in either monthly or quarterly payments until the maximum
benefit is reached.
